I also find the front blur a little annoying, particularly the jacket shoulder in the second photo. Some phones allow you to save both bokeh'd and non-bokeh'd versions of the file, which I consider a true time-saving benefit (from having to do it in post). The blur will look fake, just as in phone shots. If you love fake bokeh, you can stop down your aperture and blur only the background in Photoshop.
